We are really concerned about the Rider families down south. Has there been any word about their safety and homes?
Hope you enjoy the pictures, I had a hard time deciding which ones to send tonight because there were some othe really cute ones. That is a typical smile by Nathan, big old open mouth smile. Tomorrow Grandma and Grampa have to go home, but before that, Mom will go with me up to the boys doctor office to get a tiny bit of blood drawn to get their red blood cell count taken....called "retic" I think for reticulite. They were anemic so have been taking an iron supplement to their diet.
All for now,
love,
J

The picture of Nathan was cuter in person then what I captured on disc. The rings were laying on his mouth and he was sticking out his tongue trying to get the rings. Then he had the rings over one eye and he looked part pirate. Yes, Thomas slept in our suitcase at convention. I took the picture today so that we would remember how cute he looked in it. The boys are doing well sleeping at night, but are up so much of the day. Thomas is king of cat naps! He sleeps for 20 minutes and wakes up. I hope he is getting enough sleep. Nathan usually sleeps about 3 hours mid afternoon in his swing. Must get to bed now.

We had a friend, Sarah Mercer, from Carver MA come up today for lunch. Her baby is almost 1 year now so it was very interesting for me to see what's ahead! It may sound like all we do is visit! It has been a really nice week. As you can see, Nathan is still a little stunned with the saucer contraption. He does a little bouncing and a lot of staring. Thomas does bring his hands to the bottle, but he doesn't know yet to keep the bottle up. It's off to bed for me.
love to all,
J

Someone was ALWAYS awake today yet they both had very long naps....and very long wakeful periods. I am certainly not complaining, but have really noticed that they love and need to be talked to and held quite alot now. They can be fussing and all I'll do is turn and start talking baby talk to them and they start grinning. Course their first choice is to ride around on my hip. Our big outing today was the dump and then to get hay! Had a call on Lucy tonight....she is in the Want Ad. The lady wanted me to hold her for her till next Monday. I didn't agree to it, but was glad to hear that she is so interested. We didn't make it out to Bible study tonight as Matt had a little temperature and just didn't feel himself. I didn't feel so hot either. I think I am still tired from Altamont. The boys seem to be going to bed earlier.....like 8:00 and I should too so
good night!

ps. Can you tell who Jesse Tompkins is holding and who is in the laundry?

Had a nice visit this afternoon with Jesse & Tara Tompkins. Oh, and the other highlight for today is.....Annie has discovered poopy diapers. And I thought cleaning it up the first time was bad....yes, I know it wasn't Doodle as I caught her in the act.

Thomas doesn't know what to play with first in their new saucer....sort of like a kid at Disney. Thanks David and Shelly for the loan! Nate spent a while in it this morning while Tommy got his bath. He wasn't quite having the rip roaring time Tommy did last night, but he thought it was okay!
love to all!
M, J, T and N

We are headed to Altamont this evening, so next DDOB will be this coming Monday.
xoxo and miss you all!

Enjoy!
