Matt, Thomas and Nathan went to a Polaris dealership on Friday. While Matt is at the counter, Nathan comes up and tugs on his leg.
Nathan: Daddy, I need money.
Matt: Did you just ask for money?
Nathan: Yes, I need money.
Matt: For what?
Nathan (pointing): four wherah.
What's worse, Nathan was pointing at a Pink 4-wheeler.

Hockey Game
Last year we had a "date", actually hired a babysitter and went into Boston for a Sabres/Bruins game. Several weeks ago, Matt asked me if I wanted to go to another hockey game with him. Well, I hemmed and hawed when he asked me this year. Matt said, I know, you would have more fun if the boys came. I answered immediately, that's it! So, with the boys, we saw a Bruins/Maple Leafs game and had a blast. The first picture is outside the stadium overlooking Route 93. The second picture shows the boys did actually watch the game! They were good and buying some popcorn & nachos kept them through to the end of the game. Anyway you cut it, I have more fun with the kids whether it's grocery shopping or hockey games!

Science Museum in Boston
The first picture shows the boys playing at the water table in the Museum of Science. We spent the day there (once we found it!) with a couple of the boy's friends, Isabelle, Lillian and Chloe. The next pictures are at the Bubbleology table. I love Nathan's goggles perched on his almost non-existent nose. The last picture shows the boys with Isabelle checking out the Charles River (or is it the harbor?) from the Discovery room.

By Request...
FYI, Tommy is in the red coat with the sky blue helmet, and Nate is in the green coat with the sky blue helmet.

Thomas loves to paint pictures! Nathan does too except that Nathan spends more time mixing the paints together on his plate. Picture #2 shows Angelala (Nathan's rendition) playing blocks with the boys. We went to see Jennie in Boston. The boys and I love to see her! Thomas was giving her the sweetest smiles while riding on the walker. They wheeled each other around in her apartment while we visited. Just as we were leaving, the hostess lady who also mans the little shop was getting there so Jennie introduced us. She told the boys to come into the shop and choose a "little something" for the ride home. They came out with large Hershey bars and bags of cheesits (is this how you spell it?).

Children's Museum in Acton
We visited the Children's museum in Acton. It's an old house with three stories of rooms each with a specific activity in it. The first picture shows Nathan doing a wall puzzle. Nathan, who has been my "neat" kid since the beginning couldn't resist picking the pieces up and putting them back where they belonged. There was a little dark area in the attic with a low table that had a fine layer of sand with a fluorescent light behind it. The boys used combs to make designs in the sand. The next picture shows Nathan in the cockpit of a boat. I love his grin. They had a kitchen with booths for serving food to customers. Thomas has an apron on, not a kilt. The water table was something we had to go back to again. They would play in my dishpan every night if I let them! The boys were very good at the museum, obeying and staying with me. I enjoy taking them out.
Thomas' favorite expression right now: I need a little something.
