Some beautiful changes from 2005 to 2006! The boys made me a delicious Mother's Day lunch, we had a large bowl of cheerios! No, actually Matthew grilled us some scrumptious ribeye steaks in between raindrops!
Matt has gone back to Texas again this week. We hope this is the last but understand that the work needs to get done.
We have some more food big-time likes: Nathan plowed through pizza and Thomas loves cooked zucchini with cheese on top. It's so fun feeding them when they have an appetite. You never know what will tickle their fancy. Sometimes, I have to offer it a few days in a row before they think it's okay. Now Thomas can spy zucchini clear across the table and will open his mouth and start to pant while staring at it. Pretty clear signal! They both learned to drink out of a straw this past weekend. We make smoothies often which they already thought were okay but now they are fun because of the straw!
It's very neat to see them climb. I looked over the other day to see Nathan standing on the toilet seat lid. We have a covered basket next to the toilet that he used to get on top of the toilet.
We've had so much rain here! I have seen several times, mallards swimming in our front yard.
All for now,
love,
